Clomid fun...

Has anyone else had significant pelvic pain (read: "uterus falling out") after taking Clomid?  It's usually the 2-3 days before I ovulate and seriously hurts so badly that sitting is nearly impossible.  When I mentioned it to my doctor, she said, "Sounds like Clomid," but I'm not sure...

 Anybody?

    It happened the first time I took Clomid.  I thought it was the worst pre-period cramping ever but turned out to be right before I O'd.

    I took 100mg clomid on days 4 - 8, and I'm on CD11 today. No huge cramping but I AM starting to feel dull twinges in my ovaries.

    It might also be my imagination, who knows.  I don't typically O until the CD20s so this would be rare for me. 

    11/10: IUI #1 =100mg Clomid CD4-8 + pregnyl trigger + IUI = chemical pregnancy
    1/11: IUI #2 = 5mg Femara + trigger + IUI = BFN
    2/11: IUI #3 = injectibles + trigger + IUI = BFN
    IVF #1 April 2011 ER 4/23 w/16 eggs retrieved, 14 mature, 11 fert., 4 blasts to freeze, 5dt of 2 blasts on 4/28, beta #1 5/7 = 243... beta #2 5/9 = 491....beta #3 5/11 = 1113!!

    I took 100mg of Clomid this cycle and I've been crampy, but nothing horrible.  I'm pretty sore tonight, but that could also be contributed to the poking from the vag cam.

    TTC since 1/2010 - Dx with Stage IV Endo
    11/10 - 100mg Clomid + trigger + IUI + Estradiol + Progesterone = BFN
    12/10 - Unmedicated cycle due to RE not doing treatments in December = BFN
    1/11 - 100mg Clomid + trigger + IUI + Estradiol + Progesterone = BFN
    2/11 - Same sh!t, different month = IUI cancelled due to no response = BFN
    IVF #1 - Start stims (Follistim) 5/10, add in Ganirelix 5/14
    ER 5/21 - 13 retrieved, 7 mature, 5 fertilized; ET 5/26 - transferred one perfect 1AA blast. 3 snowbabies.
    Beta 6/3 - 15.8; Beta 6/7 - 21.8; Beta 6/10 - 7 :(
    FET - Transferred 1 AA blast 7/11. Beta 7/20 - 311! Beta 7/22 - 784!! First u/s 8/10

    My entire abdomen was really sore.  It lasted for at least a week after I finished taking it both cycles.

    Good luck!  It will get better soon.


    After more than 2 years of fertility treatments, FET did the trick!
    IVF March 2012 - BFP! - Severe OHSS = 8 days in the hospital in kidney failure
    No heartbeat at 10w6d
    FET August 27,2012 = BFP!

    Ovulation pain while on Clomid is very normal. I thought I was getting a cyst ;) If you think about it, O pain is a good thing b/c it lets you know exactly when you're O'ing. I'm kinda grateful for it.

    My O was very painful on clomid last month. I had pain for like 2-3 hours.

    i've had cramping this whole cycle, it was so persistant one day that I really thought I couldn't take it anymore more it subsided the next day. GL hun
