Food Intervention!

So I have to go meet a friend at 5:45 and it doesn't make sense for me to go home between work and meeting her but I'm STARVING.  The plan is to go to Pizza Hut and order breadsticks and eat them in my car before I meet her.   Problem is this will be the THIRD time I've done this with breadsticks!! I feel like I should be on one of those eating disorder shows where people are always eating secretly in their cars.  :)

  • The grilled Mc Donalds chicken snack wraps are only like 100 calories if you dont' do the dressing.  Could be a lower fat option if you can stomach them ;) 

    Someone told me you should try to eat more protein as it will keep you fuller longer.  Protein is like a "log" and carbs are more like "kindling" and burn off faster.

    I am trying to figure out how to make a quick food run from my work to the gym- trying to plan out what to have and where to stop and what would be a good fix so that it will tide me over but not make me too full to workout and not ruin my dinner at 7:30...

    I need a secret food stash in my car.

  • LMAO - this just made me laugh hysterically at my desk. Oh my god, I can just picture you sitting in your car outside pizza hut trying to inhale breadsticks without anyone noticing you. I hope you're not meeting at Pizza Hut with her! Smile

    I wouldn't put too much pressure on this being the 3rd time - you're pregnant, and trying to hide it a little, and you need to eat. Worry about it when you're no longer pregnant and you're hiding in Pizza Hut's parking lot eating breadsticks in your car. Smile

    LOL!!!! Well let's hope the hormones don't turn into habit post-pregnancy!! Although, while slightly embarassing, I enjoy the act of eating the breadsticks SO MUCH that it's quickly become a favorite activity! LOL!
