He just gave me the scare of my life. He took the day off to take Orchid to her doctor appt with me. I went into work this morning because i work about 10-15 minutes away from home. So i get a phone call from James in a panic telling me that he just called the ambulance for O. So, i quickly email my supervisor to let her know I am leaving and set up my out of office reply and pack my crap and run to my car (yes, literally). I am driving in the direction of home with my cell in my hand b/c he was supposed to call me when they arrived and tell me which hospital they were going to. my phone rings and I answer immediately and James says, "uh, never mind. You don't have to come home now...." Apparently, he was giving O her bath and getting her ready for her dr app't when she decided to sample the baby shampoo. He called poison control center who told him it would be fine b/c she didn't have much and it is not toxic. Well, then O started getting really sleepy and he could barely keep her awake so he called 911. hehehehehe bath=sleepy. The EMTs came, checked her out, and told him she was fine just sleepy after her bath!!! hehehehehehehehehehe. After i got over being mad that he scared the life out of me, I can't stop giggling now. I told him if something like that happens again to call me really quickly...I am a seasoned in this type of thing. I also told him he did the right thing - always err on the side of caution. but still..hehehehehehehehe

First off, glad Orchid is okay. Good thing he was observant and he did the right thing.
Okay, now that is over......how funny! I bet the EMTs were just shaking their heads. I wonder if they take bets on who has the funniest call of the day?
Hehehe. So this, but he I agree, always err on the side of caution. Is it bad that I am envisioning her blowing a steady stream of bubbles up and out of her crib while napping???
