I chose outie, but most of the time, it's more...flat. When her belly is full, it's an outie :-)
With that said, when she was discharged from the NICU, it was a TRUE outie - looked like a pencil eraser. Her pedi confirmed that it was a hernia and that most will self correct - otherwise, they would surgically repair it around 2-3yo.
Robbie's also really just flat. It's not bulbous out, so I went with "innie. He had an umbilical hernia for a long time so was an outtie, but now it's a wrinkly little flattie.
I voted "innie". Cam's is now kinda flat, but caves a little more than not. It's only the slightest bit though. One of my students said that she read something similar while doing a homework assignment and wanted to know if it were true. I told her that when I came back to school I'd let her know.
DD has an umbilical hernia, so i checked "outie". She also had UA and UV lines for 2 weeks.
Mom to 2 beautiful girls, 3 yrs and 22 months old. My 2nd was born at 32 weeks due to Rhogam failure/severe complications from Rh disease and is our miracle. She has bilateral auditory neuropathy and a cochlear implant, activated 4/5/2012 at 19 months.

My little guy has an outie. He did also have a UVC, so I'm not too surprised since there were lines in his cord for the first week.
But I also had an outie for a long time when I was little. I remember spending lots of time trying to push it in! Mine is an innie now.
Great idea for a poll. I've been wondering the same thing!
Adorable pic, too!!!
Same with my DD- it's usually some half breed but it has a definite "outie" look.
