I plan on breast feeding, but I will also pump so DH can feed her too.. I want to buy bottles but am unsure which ones the baby will take to better.. any moms have any recomendations? Or has anyone heard of a good type?
For us it was all about finding the right nipple. We finally realized that DD didn't like silicone nipples but preferred latex nipples - they are a lot softer. We used the Playtex slow flow latex nipples for the drop-in bottles.
I used the Medela bottles that came with my pump at first, with no problems. Only changed when I wanted bigger bottles.
I wasted a bunch of money on the bottles that were shaped like a breast/nipple, and they were totally unnecessary. I am sure nipple confusion does happen with a few kids, but not many and not mine.
I think it comes down to what your baby likes. DS would drink from any bottle any nipple. DD not so much she never ended up taking a bottle no matter what kind of nipple was on there.
Get a couple of different styles to begin with and go from there.

We have the same plan, and ended up putting both Tommee Tippee and The First Years Breastflow bottles on our registry. They both are supposed to mimic breastfeeding, so that's why we chose them.
DS only used Avent. We never had to try a different brand. I did however use a Platex Drop In once, but thought they were a joke...just a gimmick to get you to continuously buy liners.
Some breastfed babies aren't all that picky, but mine were super picky. My first DS would only accept the NUK latex nipple. My second DS would gag on those nipples and would only take Dr. Browns. I guess what ever you decide on I wouldn't buy a lot of a particular bottle until you're sure your baby will accept them.
we used avent and HATED them- looooved the Born Free ones (and when I say hate/love, i am talking about my feelings- B never seemed to care, although he would go weeks at a time without a bottle so who knows)

THIS. I chose Tommee Tippee because I wanted something closest to the breast in case I end up exclusively pumping. I travel to Europe a lot so I had always seen these bottles. Now they sell them in the states.
Re: best bottle for a breastfed baby?
We used Dr Browns when DD took a bottle. Tried Avent before that, and no go!
I recommend having 2 slow flow bottles on hand, you never know which your baby will take.
