DD has been on solids for a month now and eats them like a pro. Usually has a fruit in the morning and a veggie at night (rice still in bottle for her reflux). When do you move to adding in solids at lunch time? or should you just add a fruit at dinner to go along with the veggie and hold off for a 3rd feeding until shes older?
Re: solids 3x a day?
DD has been on solids 3x a day since she was 4.5 months. She started off with rice cereal. When she turned 5 months, I started her on vegetables. She gets her veggie in the morning along with her rice cereal. Once we are done cycling through the veggies, she will start getting fruit.
Eventually we will have this solids schedule (this is minus bottles).
Morning - fruit and rice cereal
Lunch - fruit and vegetable
Dinner - vegetable and rice cereal
I hope this helps!
DS is just shy of 6 months and we are doing 3x/day solids...
Breakfast is oat cereal w/some BM
Lunch is oat or rice cereal and pears or apples
Dinner is oat or rice cereal and sweet potato or zucchini
Bottles are interspersed and are about 7 oz
