People on the toddler board are always asking what peoples' crib inventory is and it makes me sad when they say they don't keep anything in their kid's crib so here's mine, complete with blankets, binkies, bumper, toys, stuffed animals and even a live animal! You can barely see the mattress...do you think Simon's crib is too ghetto? ![]()

Re: Ghetto crib
Maybe it's just got more of the ...ummmm....... "lived in" look.
P.S. We have a picture of me in my crib with our gigantic black cat Jake curled up next to me too. I love it!

Awww!
We've got the bumpers, extra nups, a blankie, a dragon and a round little red bird thing.
Just prior to moving out of it, Ellie had the following in her crib: one blankie, two little mini blankets with stuffed animal heads, two stuffed bunnies, 2 stuffed birds, and a stuffed lion, 3 wubba-nub type binkies, plus two sippy cups. We would line them all up at the head of her crib and cover her with the blankie, and they would all end up scattered throughout the crib by morning.
Now in her big girl double bed, she has a ton of stuffed animals that are all lined up against the footboard and she sleeps with her blue blankie and the two mini blankets. But the other items find their way up onto the bed throughout the night.
Ada's crib routinely has two knit blankets and at least one stuffed animal. Sometimes there are shoes, wipes, extra diapers or whatever she swiped off the dresser on her way to sleep or waking up.
I say you are doing just fine.
We're the opposite. Sydney doesn't have a Lovie. She also hates to have a blanket on her. Most anything else that we put in her crib gets thrown on the floor (followed by crying because she wants it back). So Sydney has exactly ONE thing in her crib. Her Teddy. I think she only tolerates him though. She's happy just cramming her head up against the bumper all by herself.
I am toying around with putting a baby pillow in there with her. I picked one up and she seems to like it. I am just so nervous try it in her crib.
Just water, but she wanted both of them for some reason. We tried only putting in one but she would always notice and insist on the other one. We wedged them down in each corner of the crib and they usually stayed there till morning, she never really drank them until she woke up. They were the kind with straws.
