    LOL!  That cracks me up too.  I can't fathom getting all the way through pregnancy and never having seen the word "effaced" written anywhere.

    Someone seriously went out of their way to write about effacement on facebook and spelled it as O FACE?? I would not have gotten what they were talking about even in context, I am that dumb. So is talking about this stuff on facebook appropriate now? I could just see my high school cousins asking me what's that?

    she's a classy babe.  She also facebooked pictures of her 4 month old eating part of her grilled ham and cheese sandwich and ice cream cone because "the doctor said he should start solids."  Huh?

    The only mention of dilation and effacement that will be made is to the jan mom group on facebook.  I figure it's fair game for them.

    For everyone else, all they really want to hear it "hey, the baby's born!" so that's all they'll get.
