  • We are having a Onederland theme- snowflakes and snowmen. Goody bags will have little snowman masks that you color, (Joann's for 1.00) individual play-doh cartons (15 for $7 at TJ Maxx) and candy.
  • We are doing the Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle.  For goodie bags, I got each child an Eric Carle  book.  Then they'll also get bubbles and a few other things I haven't figure out yet.

  • My son is January 5th, too! We're having pizza and cupcakes. I might do a banner with a pic from every month- on circles to make a caterpillar. It's tough with the holidays just over, and no time to do projects! So, we'll see. No goodie bags- family only.

    I LOVE the Onederland idea!!

We are doing a butterfly theme with bright colors: pink, orange, green, yellow. I'm making cupcakes with candy butterflies on top. Not very "wintry," but I love summertime, so we'll just bring the sunshine inside in January! ;) No goody bags since there won't be many (or any) other little ones there.

  • We are doing a penguin theme.  I guess it's winter wonderlandish.  For goodie bags we are doing cookies and maybe a craft they can take home.

  • I'm thinking Dr. Suess. No goodie bags, the parents I know hate those bag of random "stuff''- probably some other little gift instead or a pull string pinata. i just got a great catalog in the mail- check out their website www.1stwishes.com they have cute lady bug themes.

We are using the "Look whoo's One" theme from that site. I am making my own banner, and cupcake toppers. For goody bags, I'm not sure b/c the kids will be aged 12m-16 yrs old. But I was thinking about just having a huge lolipops with cute tags that say "Thanks for coming to my party, it was a HOOT!"

  • We are also doing a Winter ONEderland theme. Snowflakes, penguins and snowmen all in blue and white and silver. I got little christmas themed books from the dollar store, these little snowman head pots that you plant grass in so it looks like his hat, and foam snowman craft and stickers for the goodie bags. I will also add some candy and got snowflake lollipops. I think I am going to do 'snowman soup' as a favor for the adults, it is really just hot chocolate but there is a cute little poem that goes with it.
  • We're doing a "Look Whooose Turning One!" theme with girly owls (similar to the PBK owl theme). I found an Etsy seller who is making most of the decorations for me. We're not doing goody bags, but we're going to give away homemade owl frosted cookies as favors.
