Mobile area info needed

Hi, my family will be relocating to the mobile area. What are some good neighborhoods within a 45 min drive of mobile? I'm looking for a nice, safe family oriented neighborhood. We will be renting and are looking for a house or townhouse. From what I saw online Daphne and Fairhope are good I believe? Thanks in advance

    I'm not sure about Mobile, but there are some ladies that frequent the board that are from that area. They will be able to help you but they may not be on the board until Monday. Good Luck and Welcome to the board!

    Hey and Welcome! I live in the south end of the county. In Mobile, areas of Midtown are good, with beautiful homes. West Mobile is also nice.

    Daphne and Fairhope are good, but the commute across the bay can be frustrating at times.

    Hi and welcome.  I live in Baldwin County.  If your going to travel to Mobile daily I would recommend the Daphne/Spanish Fort area.  Highway 98 can be a nightmare if you live in the Fairhope and need to drive to Mobile.  I drive to Mobile for work everyday and it's not that bad.  If your going to working in downtown Mobile you can avoid the tunnel (which is a good thing) if not traffic can get a little backed up at times going through the tunnel.  I live about 8 miles outside the city limits of Spanish Fort and I love it.  You can email me if you have any questions.  christyrollin@yahoo.com
