Is your 4 month old on a schedule? Or are they still too little to be on one?

If they are on a schedule how many naps and how long do they sleep for?

What time do they go to bed?

Are they sleeping through the night?

How many ounces a day of milk do they eat.

These are all questions that had for my ped on friday, but unfortunately we had to cancell and reschedule due to some emergency that she had and had to leave immediately 1 hour before our appt.

She is so booked and wont be able to see her till a week and a half from now.

Mine runs like a clock and has for about a month now. He sets the schedule, I follow it. He enjoys routine.

If they are on a schedule how many naps and how long do they sleep for?

He just transitioned from 4 naps to 3 -- 2 short midday naps consolidated into one longer midday nap. Nap 1 starts an hour after he wakes up and lasts about 2 hours; Nap 2 starts around 11:30-12 and lasts 1-2 hours; Nap 3 starts about 3pm and lasts about 45 minutes.

What time do they go to bed?

Can't keep him up past 6:15. Used to be 7-7:30 before DST ended.

Are they sleeping through the night?

Yes, he sleeps from 6pm till 4am when he wakes up to feed, then back to sleep till 6-7am.

How many ounces a day of milk do they eat.

Not sure since he is EBF but I would guess about 30 -- he eats 5-6 times a day and is ~16 lbs.

No schedule. Not cause he's too young, but because I just let him do what he wants, and hasn't fallen into any consistent pattern.

He takes 4-5 naps a day. One is usually an hour, and the rest are 10-30 minutes.

What time do they go to bed?
Between 9:30 and 10:30.

Are they sleeping through the night?
No. He wakes 3-4 times in a 10 hour period overnight.

How many ounces a day of milk do they eat.
We EBF on demand.

If they are on a schedule how many naps and how long do they sleep for?He only naps for 30 minutes or so at a time (at least that's what he does for me on the weekend).

What time do they go to bed?Usually falls asleep between 730 and 800 and then in bed at 800

Are they sleeping through the night? Sometimes he does, but I considered 'through the night' six hours...so, if he's asleep til 230am and then back til 600am, I'm super happy.

How many ounces a day of milk do they eat.Hard to say, but for the day, he gets 4 ounce bottles at least 3 times, if not 4 total. We EBF at home.

Is your 4 month old on a schedule? Or are they still too little to be on one? First off, we're only about 3.5 months, but I thought I'd give you my input. We don't have any real schedule...but there are similarities from day to day.
If they are on a schedule how many naps and how long do they sleep for? 2-3 naps at daycare and pretty much the same on the weekends. They've gotten a lot shorter than they used to be. I'd say two of the naps are about 30 min. and maybe a 1-2 hour nap.

Are they sleeping through the night? Just this last week he's started sleep long stretches at night. I'd say, 5:6 nights this week we've made it 8-10 hours a night - and boy do I hope this continues!
How many ounces a day of milk do they eat. I've tried to figure this out by keeping track on the weekends. I'd say he's eating about 35-40 oz./day.

If they are on a schedule how many naps and how long do they sleep for? She usually takes 3 naps during the day. One around 9a for about 30ish mins. Then 12ish for about an hour-two hours. and then about 5-6ish for about 30mins or so.

What time do they go to bed? She's ready for bed about 8-830p

Are they sleeping through the night? For the most part she sleeps through the night. Her paci usually falls out around 1ish and sometimes she'll whimper and go back to sleep, sometimes not. If we put it in she'll usually sleep until 5a and then is ready to eat. Then she'll go back to bed and I take her to MIL's around 5 and she sleeps until 7-8am(ish)

How many ounces a day of milk do they eat. She's BF & bottle fed, so it's hard to tell. About 30-35ish.

Our pedi suggested a small amount of juice every other day or so, and to introduce fruits to her diet. She has had some tummy trouble. She went about 7 days w/o going poop and it's helped keep her regular.

If they are on a schedule how many naps and how long do they sleep for?

She naps 1-3 hours at daycare over 2 naps. Usually one in the morning, one in the afternoon. She does this on weekends too, but the time is never the same, just one in the AM and one in the PM, and then a 20 min nap around 6:45 before her last bottle.

What time do they go to bed? By 8 PM, sometimes as early as 7:30 if she's really fussy/tired.

Are they sleeping through the night? Most nights she sleept until 4/4:30 AM, eats, then sleeps til 7. Some nights she sleeps 8 PM - 7 AM without waking. She did that at 10 weeks old for a month, and then went back to waking at 4 AM to eat every now and then.

How many ounces a day of milk do they eat. I BF her in the AM and after daycare so maybe 6-8 oz there; she gets 15 oz of BM at daycare, and another 6 of formula before bed.

DD has been going down for Nap 1 45min after she wakes up and lasts 1-2.5hrs. Nap 2 happens around 1pm and lasts 1-2 hours. Nap 3 happens around 5pm and lasts 1hr or less.

What time do they go to bed? By 9 PM, sometimes as early as 7:30 if she's really fussy/tired.

Are they sleeping through the night? No! She used to but about 1 month ago she started waking more and more often! Now she is up every 3 hours at night.

How many ounces a day of milk do they eat. I EBF, but based on the occasional bottle, I estimate she eats almost 40oz within 24 hours.

Yes - 12 straight hours

Not sure as he is breastfeed but he eats at 6:30, 8:30, 12:30, 3:00, and 6:00.

naps are all over the place. He is a catnapper and we are always on the go since I have a 4 year old, so he takes several 20-30 min naps per day. Sometimes he gets in 1 hour + nap if our schedule allows

What time do they go to bed?

around 8 but lately he has been getting tired earlier so its been harder to hold him off until then

Are they sleeping through the night?

No. he typically gets up anywhere from 2 to 4, nursing for about 20 mins and then back to sleep until 5 or 6. Then he comes in bed with us (nursing again) until 7 or 8. Some nights he is up more.

How many ounces a day of milk do they eat.

I am ebf so its hard to say. When he takes a bottle of pumped milk its usually 5 oz and I nurse at least 6 times a day. My guess is 30-32 oz.

Is your 4 month old on a schedule? Or are they still too little to be on one? Mine eat every 3 hours from 7:30-7:30 and take a nap between each feeding. The nap length varies, but they always sleep for at least a little between each.

If they are on a schedule how many naps and how long do they sleep for? They take 4 naps. The morning and evening ones are usually 30-45 minutes. The mid-day ones are 1-2+ hours.

What time do they go to bed? 8:00

Are they sleeping through the night? I consider sttn sleeping the entire night without waking. DS2 sleeps all 12 hours. DS1 gets up once about half the time. He's sttn more often these days.

How many ounces a day of milk do they eat. DS2 30-35, DS1 is 25-30.

No set schedule, but dd has fallen into a pattern and we try to be consistent with following her cues for sleep/eating

I work days and dh or daycare has dd but she takes several small naps during the day. dd gets up with me (630-7) and "helps" me get ready in the morning. I leave her with dh at 8-830 and she usually falls back asleep @9. dh works second shift so tries to keep her asleep for as much of the morning as possible. weekends when I have her she usually naps for an hour then is up for 2 (naps at 9, 12, 3).

What time do they go to bed? 6pm

Are they sleeping through the night?she is usually up twice with the 6pm bedtime- sometime between 10-1 and then at 5 for feeding

How many ounces a day of milk do they eat.

when I have her weekends I BF on demand, but I pump 16oz for her when I'm at work

More or less, we use the E.A.S.Y. routine from Baby Whisperer. DD seems to have precise internal clock, so we usually end up with close to the same times every day, but I try not to be too rigid about it.

DD takes a morning nap (1-2 hrs), an afternoon nap (1-2 hrs), and an evening catnap (30 min).

What time do they go to bed?

She's asleep by 8 pm.

Are they sleeping through the night?

She's usually up somewhere between 2-4 am to eat, then back to sleep until 7 am.

How many ounces a day of milk do they eat.

I mostly BF, so I'm not sure. Roughly 5-6 oz bottles, maybe 30 oz.

No where near on a schedule except for going to bed between 5 and 7 most nights. I do not think she is to young just hasent settled in to one yet. We are planning on starting ferber soon!

She takes anywhere from 2-4 naps ranging from 30 minutes to 3 hours.

Anywhere between 5-7 most nights.

Are they sleeping through the night?

I consider sleeping through the night not waking up once and no she is not. She will go 7 hours at the most and that is very rare usually it is 5 the first stretch and after that she is up all the time.

How many ounces a day of milk do they eat.

I am not keeping track it is anywhere from seven 5 or 4oz bottles to 6.

They also take a nap usually from 10-12 or so, and another in the afternoon around 2 for about an hour.What time do they go to bed?We try to do their last feeding at 7 or 7:30.Are they sleeping through the night?K does. L will often wake up needing her pacifier, and every now and then to eat if she doesn't eat well during the day.How many ounces a day of milk do they eat.They both eat 25-27 bottles over 5 feedings.
