AW- Corri is going to be a model!

I need to AW my little cutie pie for a minute. About a month ago we signed Corri with a child modeling/acting agency because people kept telling us how pretty she was. She's very laid back, so we figured she might be good as a baby model. We signed her and then figured nothing would come of it, but we got a call two days ago for her to go on a "go see" for a print ad for Babies R Us. DH and the nanny took her, and we got a call a few hours later that they chose her!

We are really excited that she booked a job on the first try! Corri is excited too, but hasn't let it go to her head...she did, however, decide she needs a new purse to celebrate...

We were told by our agency that her preemie-ness is good for baby modeling because she looks like a 5-6 month old due to her size, but has the maturity of an 8-9 month old...we found that interesting.

lol I always wanted to do that with DD because she's soooo easy-going and loves to meet new people, but DH is not on board. It's funny that you mention them liking the preemie-ness, I always wondered about that...when DD was the size of a newborn at 4mos old, I remember thinking that all those soaps should have preemies play their newborns

You'll have to PIP the ad when it comes out!!!

I definitely will be majorly AWing the ad when it comes out, lol. My DH was actually the one who set everything in motion, he is such a stage daddy!

For yesterday's go see, they actually only wanted up to 14 pounds, but since she is a skinny 16 pounds (shes long and skinny, barely into 3-6 clothing) they wanted her anyway. DH and I just kept thinking of the "baby lipo" scene in "Bruno", lol!
