DD hates water in her sippy cup. Advice?

Our pedi told us to start putting about 4ozs of water in her sippy cup. She said we could also add about an ounce of juice if we wanted to. Well, we've had no luck getting her to drink water. She just makes a terrible face, and throws the sippy cup on the floor. Does it just take them a while to learn to like water? If you add juice, what kind does your LO like? I'm thinking of going out and buying some.

  • Dylan will drink a tiny bit from his sippy, but he prefers a regular cup.  So, I usually just fill a plastic up half way up and give him sips from that.

  • My girl hate the sippy. I give it to her in a regular cup too.  I actually use a bottle cap since they are small enough for her to get her hands around.

This. We tried a sippy this past week and DD hated it. She LOVES drinking from a regular cup, although that can get quite messy!

  • HMM I might have to try a regular cup as well. DS looks at me like I'm crazy when I try to get him to drink out of the sippy cup!
  • g will take a drink, then open her mouth and it all falls out while she gives me a look that i just gave her poison.
  • Amanda will take it directly from   a water bottle, or regular cup.
