F/U to Shooting

I was feeling a little uneasy about the shooting yesterday and didn't even want to take Caroline to the park until I knew more about it.  My neighbor across the street is a realtor and is into everything in our town so I went over there today to see if she knew anything else about the shooting.  From what she's heard, the speculation is that it was some sort of hit.  He worked for JP Morgan.  The way in which he was shot was very deliberate and definitely made a statement. 

I just don't understand why someone felt it was necessary to do right in front of a pre-school.  There's a pediatric office next door as well.
