How long did you wait to have sex?

What did your doctor recommend and how long did you end up waiting?  

We were already down to once a week for the month I knew I was pregnant since I was nervous because I knew there was a problem.  The last time we had sex was a week before my m/c which happened a week ago.  My doctor said 3-4 weeks which would put us at about 5 weeks with no sex.  I am not saying I am ready yet, but I think in a week I will be. 

I had a natural m/c by the way, not a D&C, if that makes a difference.

    We waited about a week, I had an early natural mc.

    Baby #5: m/c at 6 weeks (2014)

    First loss at 20 weeks, waited 4 weeks...until after my first AF.  

    This one, at 10 weeks, waited 2 weeks...until after I stopped spotting.

    We were told to wait 2wks post D&C. We waited 13 days- it had been a long time Stick out tongue

    I miscarried at 11 weeks 4 days.  My doctor didn't say to wait.  We waited until I stopped bleeding/spotting which was about 12 or 13 days.

    I had a natural m/c at 7w6d (fetal pole only meas like 6w2d, though). 

    I was told to wait 2 weeks, but I forgot to ask if that meant 2 weeks from when the bleeding started (which would mean I was OK to do it now), from when they confirmed that I was miscarrying (which would mean next Thursday), from when they confirmed that my natural m/c was complete (which would mean two Tuesdays from now), or when from when the bleeding stopped (hopefully it completely stops soon!  Now just light spotting).

    So, yeah.  It might be awhile.  My guess is that I'd be OK to go ahead in like a week and a half.  IDK--should have clarified!

    I was off-limits for 2 weeks post D&C. But then I got an infection and was on antibiotics for a week. And then I got a yeast infection from the antibiotics, so I'm still off-limits until I'm over that, which will hopefully be by the middle of next week (3 weeks post D&C). We can't TTC until I get AF, and DH is being a total douchecanoe about the concept of condoms, but I told him no sex until AF is NOT an acceptable option, so he'll have to get over himself. We shall see how things turn out. I miss it. :( My lack of sex is making me feel totally unattractive and undesirable.

    I was told to wait 2 weeks, which we did. I thought I was good emotionally, but I should have waited a bit longer, I was a little bit of a mess afterwards.
