Trouble TTC

When did you switch boards?

Hi ladies.  I'm a regular poster on TTGP.  DH and I have been ttc since Jan. 09 and this is our 10th cycle.  He's had an SA, and I've had some testing as well and I'm on my second round of Clomid this cycle.  I was just wondering when you all made the switch to this board?  I'm starting to feel a little out of place on the TTGP board, it just seems like there are alot of new girls and they leave 2 months later with their BFP's.

edit to add:  I haven't been diagnosed with anything as of yet.

So happy for my BFPB Steff13914 and her new twins! Welcome to the world sweet babies:) Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker

  • I switched after about a year and a half after we started TTC. I still post on TTGP but I consider 3T my home.
  • I switched over after my first appt. with my RE, about 8 or 9 months into TTC with diagnoses of MFI and hypothryodism/annovulation.
  • I switched today, but I was just a lurker on TTGP. DH and I have been TTC for about a year and have an appt with my gyn in a couple weeks.

    I felt the same over there as well - lots of turnover.

  • I switched over in July after my miscarriage.  I was planning on starting fertility testing in May, but got a BFP.  In July I new things were going to be difficult.  We are now on cycle 18 or 19 I believe, low/no progesterone to speak of and not ovulating regularly.
    Hallelujah, it's a miracle, I have children AND a signature!

  •  I started lurking after about 10 months TTC when I was really starting to think there was a problem; and I just started posting, when I started treatment this month.  I felt the same way (about GP on TN)  - it started to make me more stressed out and depressed to see everyone come and go...

  • This is the first and only board I've ever posted on.  I didn't reach out for support until I knew we were going to start medicated cycles.

    I don't know if you are asking, but if you are I think you'd fit in just great over here.  I just hope your stay won't be too long {{{hugs}}}

  • You said you've been trying since Jan 09 and this is your 10th cycle... I'm guessing you mean Jan 2010, unless you have insanely long cycles.  To be honest, I've been here so long that I don't remember when I switched from TTGP to TTTC.  Lately, though I've been posting on both TTTC and IF, but more so on IF... I really feel like I might need to make IF my "new home" board.  In any event, good luck to you and I hope you don't have to make the switch I'm about to make.

  • I'm switching right now after 11 months of trying and getting a dx of mfi and still waiting to see my Dr. about my chronically low progesterone. Happy to start calling this board my new home!
  • I started here, because I had been dx with PCOS and knew I was going to have trouble.

  • I started coming to this board for answers at the 1 year mark when we 1st met with our RE. I haven't been diagnosed with anything either (hubby's SA came back good, too) But, after a year of trying, I got better answers on this board.

    Best of luck to you!
