Holiday Photos
What are you planning to do for the Holiday Photo for your LO?
I have a million ideas & can't decide. Most of what I want to do really hinges on the weather being decent enough for us to do an outdoor shoot this weekend, but I am still not convinced on what I want her to wear, etc. I want to put her on a vintage sled that my mom has in a forest preserve and hang some oversized ornaments from fishing line. If the weather doesn't cooperate- I guess we might have to do the old-fashioned fireplace shoot. I'm also torn on what to have her wear...something "cutesy" like a big skirt or more dressy, holiday wear. What to do, what to do...
Tell me what you're planning....maybe it will get my creativity going!
**Oh- and thanks for all your T&P the other day- they worked! Bart is home and doing ok....he is in a lot of pain but dealing well

Why don't you buy that $195 vintage inspired holiday crap from Etsy?
In all honesty, I'm still trying to figure out what to for Caroline at this point. Right now, I'm leaning towards just putting her Christmas outfit on for pics. I figure that even for the people that will actually see her in on Christmas, it will be different seeing her in the outfit in person. As for the setting, I'm thinking about being cheesy and doing it front of the Christmas tree or some of our decorations or something like that. I usually decorate the weekend after Thanksgiving so I'll have everything out next weekend.

We went to a Beach in Laguna and put E in a red diaper cover on the sand. And then did the cliche socal family pics on the rocks at the beach.
for her 10 month pics, we are going to go down to the boat we got married on in red & green outfits.
our cards will have the beach pic, but the we will still have a holiday pic for the calendars I'm doing.
if the weather is too crappy, is there a mall w/ an awesome holiday display you could stage your own photoshoot at? Do you guys have any of the rent by the hour photo studios nearby? I could see you still setting up the ornaments w/ the sled on a white background.
