I need to buy new shoes for work (what a shocker) - something low, black, and not too grandma-looking, but above all - COMFY! And with good arch support. I don't stand around alot, but I walk 10 min. to/from the train. I work in a law firm, and I will likely be wearing black pants every day!
Any recommendations?
Re: Recs for Comfy Work Shoes?
I just bought these from Famous Footwear

They aren't the cutest things in the world but the cushion inside this shoe is heaven!
So Tasty, So Yummy
I ditto the Dr. Scholl's (sp?) from WalMart if you wanna shop on a budget. Mine have worn well and I'm in them 10+ hours a day on my feet. I wear them with a pair of kushy feet knee highs and the combo works great. The ones I have are very simple so they don't stand out or look like old lady shoes.
If you have a few bucks to spend get a pair of Clark's! They wear so well and have great support - plus a better selection of styles!?

Have you considered Danskos? The woman I carpool with is a physical therapist (on her feet and/or walking all day). She has 3-4 very cute pairs, and she lives in them.
They're a bit pricey ($100+), but if you wear them every day, I think it's worth it.
