My grandmother told me awhile back about a Christian musician she liked. I can only assume she is not talking about anything contemporary, because she hates anything contemporary, including cable TV, drive-thru pharmacy windows, and the new Belk logo. Her favorite show is Lawrence Welk. And I'm pretty sure she thinks the episodes she watches are new. :-)
Anyway, I want to get her a CD for Christmas (or if possible, her birthday, but that is tomorrow.. so unless I can get it at a Christian bookstore or something here in town, that might not work).
It was something like Donald McDonald... though I know that's not it. The last name was "Mc--something".. Google isn't helping.
Anyone know what the heck I'm talking about? Or am I destined to just get Grandma another Whitman's sampler for her birthday? TIA!
Re: Completely random question.
Could it be Shawn McDonald? I googled "Christian artist McDonald" and that's what came up.
No--I saw that too. I think it's Daniel, or Donald, or something.. And it's maybe McDonnell... though none of those combos are showing up anywhere when I search them.
It would be someone either old school, or who sings old-style hymns, etc. Nothing like waiting until the last minute. hehe.
Maybe Micheal McDonald?
Go to https://www.familychristian.com/ and click on the music tab and then on the sidebar there is a place where you can see artists alphabetically.
ETA: once you click on the alpha range you have to scroll down the sidebar again to see all of the artists.
Nope.. not him either.
She very well could have made this person up. LOL.
Ok, I think it's Daniel O'Donnell... and I think he's not a Christian musician, but an Irish country (??) musician. Interesting.
Thanks y'all!
And by the way... Sorry ladies, he's taken.
damn!! he's a hottie...
