Caldwell's post reminded me, we stayed at that condo in San Diego that you recommended.  It was awesome!  It was walking distance from the beach.  The neighborhood was quiet and there was a huge front patio to hang out on in the evenings.  They even had a high chair, pack & play, and sand toys for the beach.  Plus there was a washer and dryer, so I didn't have to bring 15 changes of clothes for each kid.  Great find!  I highly recommend it.

  • Thanks C.  I was just thinking today that you guys had gone down there, and hopefully would have some input.

  • The kids liked the beach above everything else.  We had initially planned to do Sea World, but ended up skipping it in favor of spending more time at the beach.  Gavin was only a year old and I didn't think he'd really get into Sea World.  They both had a great time at Lego Land.  There's lots for young toddlers to do.   A lot of the rides have no height or age minimum, so Gavin could go, too. Plus there are a bunch of firefighter-realted rides and activities, which was perfect for Evie's firefighter obsession..

  • Good to hear.  We know W will be too young to really enjoy stuff, I am just praying he isn't walking yet.  M has no idea our plans, so it should be lots of fun. I think he will like sea world, but will be 4 by the time we go.  Lego land looks like a lot of fun for all ages.

  • Good to know!! We still plan to get down there some day soon. I'm hoping next fall.
