  I hate that job.  I always put 3 sheets on (I stopped using mattress protectors in between because we've never had a leak that went past the jammies) so that I can just strip one off to wash it and I don' t have to take the whole mattress out.

  I used to hate it when we had the mattress protector on, but that is looong gone.  I figured the mattress itself was waterproof, so no need for the protector.
