I'm tempted to freak out just a little. I just noticed a voicemail from my OB's medical assistant---she said she was calling about the results from my ultrasound. (We had our 18-week u/s yesterday and the tech who did the u/s said everything looks great. It's a girl!) So--I'm hoping my OB is calling just to confirm that all is well---but I'm wondering why they didn't just wait to tell me that at my next appointment. So, I'm tempted to freak out that they are calling bcs something may be wrong. Did you guys get a call from your OB just to confirm that all was well on your ultrasound?
Just getting this worry off my chest!
Re: anyone get a post-ultrasound call from your OB?
I think every doctor is different. Ours told us on Monday that he would call us by 7 if he thought anything was wrong, I have friends whose OB's do the opposite and call to reassure. I would trust an OB/Radiologists opinion over the u/s tech.
Just relax, have some hot cocoa and call first thing tomorrow morning. It's probably fine, maybe they need more pictures, didn't get what they need or want to confirm the tech's opinion.

Thanks, ladies, for sharing your experiences. I talked to the office today and they need me to come back so they can get a better look at the bottom of her spine. Because of her position, they couldn't see it clearly.
Magical95--so sorry to hear the news about the kidneys. Sending T&P your way for peace and that you find out soon that all is well. A friend of mine got similar results and as they monitored things, the problem resolved itself.
