"There's no reason to cry over spilled milk"

I beg to differ.  I just got done pumping and was very happy that I got a whole 6 oz...then...it spilled.  Crying  Now, I have 4 oz. which is not even enough to satisfy DS for a single feeding.  I could just cry.

  • Your not alone.  It is the worst feeling to see all that hard work on the floor ( at least thats where mine landed).  I had a awful morning one day, I just finished pumping and was pouring the milk into the bottles and my sleeve caught the bottle, it fell over and spilled all over the counter, floor and on top of my cat.  It scared the cat and she took off running and shook BM all over my house. I mean everywhere! We have tile floors so now there is sticky drops everywhere you walk. What makes it worse is,  I had just cleaned the floors the day before, so now I have BM all over my house and cat.  All this took place at 5:45am,  not the best way to start off the day.

Sorry about your milk spillage but hopefully my crazy morning will make you laugh a little, it made me laugh, 3 day later.

  • That SUCKS!  I can't imagine what I'd do if that happened.  I haven't spilled any yet (knock on wood!) but I've had a couple of close calls.

Well, the good news... at least it wasn't the whole bottle!  Hope the day gets better.

  • Yeah my DH seems to think it's no big deal when we have to dump some out, grrr!

This definitely made me LOL! OP, I know what you mean! I left a 5 oz bottle in my diaper bag overnight last weekend. I swear, it was physically painful to pour out!

  • The other day I spilled some and I did cry.  I felt so bad because then DD only had 3 bottles for day care and had to have a bottle of formula.
