NBR: Found out today my boxer has cancer....

I am so bummed about it.....well beyond bummed, we have 4 dogs and we treat them like children.....our boxer is 7 years old and the best dog ever....she has been losing weight really, really fast and her kidneys are failing and then today on an ultrasound they found a large tumor by the heart....it sucks.....I am going to miss her so much, right now her quality of life is pretty good, she will still shake your hand, eat, go outside.....so we are going to enjoy our time with her until she starts suffering......it just sucks....no other way to put it...

    oh my gosh. I am so sorry. I would be devastated if I got news like that. I hope you can enjoy her while she is still in good spirits. So sorry...

    I'm sorry! I don't know what I would do with out my fur babies! I hope you enjoy the last few days, weeks, months, years.... What ever it ends up being.

    I'm so sorry! I completely understand how you feel. We have a boxer/pit mix and he is our baby! Last year he was diagnosed with an awful heart disease and he is currently on $500 worth of pills each month to keep his ticker ticking. I don't know what we will do without him someday. I hope your dog keeps fighting!

    I'm so sorry. I know how you feel and it sucks. We lost our beloved pup of 12 years when I was pregnant. She had cancer as well. It was the hardest thing I ever dealt with. I hope you can just spend as much time with him now and love on him all you can. They are part of our family and bring us such joy.
