I cry the ugly cry and beg DH to come home from work. He has only ever come home early once but he comes home and makes me one of my favorites for dinner and we cuddle while I cry.
If it's not THAT bad of a day, I try to watch a funny movie or do something for myself to make me feel better (pedicure, do my hair, go walk around Target for hours).
I drink a nice glass of Pinot Noir (or bottle) and sing at the top of my lungs to my dogs....lol...
I sing:
I feel pretty, Oh, so pretty, I feel pretty and witty and bright And i pity any one who isn't me tonight.
I feel charming, Oh, so charming It's alarming how charming i feel And so pretty i hardly can believe i'm real.
See the pretty girl in that mirror there: Who can that attractive girl be? Such a pretty face, such a pretty dress, Such a pretty smile, such a pretty me
I feel stunning Oh, so stunning Feel like running and jumping for joy, Cause i'm loved by a pretty wonderful boy
I feel pretty, Oh, so pretty, I feel pretty and witty and bright And i pity any one who isn't me tonight.
I feel charming, Woo, woo, woo, so charming It's alarming how charming i feel And so pretty i hardly can believe i'm real.

The above makes me feel better just thinking how ridiculous I look to the outside world. lol

It depends on if I want to cheer myself up, or wallow in my shat.
If I do actually want to be cheered up, I play the "Could be worse..." game. It goes like this:
1. I'm not homeless.
2. I have a job.
3. I have family who loves me.
4. I don't have cancer...
(The trick to this game is to start getting creative once you've covered your basics)
27. I don't have Syphyllis
28. I don't have incurable halitosis
29. I'm not 400 lbs and 4 ft tall
30. I don't have leishmaniasis (tropical flesh-eating disease)
And on and on. Sometimes I just get to 30. Some days it's 100. Depends on what got me there. The point is to come up with such outrageous things to be thankful it's not, that you end up happy.
