No shoes here. We got 4 pairs or so as gifts, but babies aren't supposed to wear shoes till they're walking so we haven't used any of them. Besides, it seems he's more comfy w/o them.
Yeah never and even when I try them they do not stay on his feet. It was warm from the time he was born so he has spent most of his life barefoot but its getting cold so we are going to have to start.
DS is almost 9 months old and has worn shoes TWICE. Once, on Easter. They were adorable little dress shoes from The Gap. We bought some OshKosh shoes when he was 3 months old but he never wore them. Then, because I was reading on these boards about all these babies wearing shoes DH and I bought some. He wore them once while we were out shopping. He kept kicking them off so that's that! I just put socks on him when we go out!
Harmon doesn't and he is a cruising taking his first steps about to walk baby. We just put him in the no slip socks. Once he gets to the point where he is walking outside I will start putting shoes on him on a regular basis. But in the house he knocks them right off and the same with the car. Not worth the effort.

Ds has only worn shoes a handful of times. I'm thinking of getting him some new ones, though, since I don't want his feet to get cold with just socks on in the winter.
I think shoes are a waste, and have only put them on her when it's cold. But I found sweater/shoes/slipper/socks at target and I LUUUVVV them. Easy to put on!
I put them on instead of socks if it's cold since she takes off her socks but leaves the shoes on. ?I also use them if we're out and she wants to stand on the ground just to keep her feet clean and keep her from stepping on something and getting hurt (like at the pumpkin patch, Disneyland, etc). ?I will occasionally put them on because they look good with her outfit. ?I have the sweater slippers pp mentioned and I hate them. ?They don't stay on at all and her feet are usually partly in the foot part and partly up the ankle part.
I put a pair of Robeez on her yesterday for the first time ever because we were going out to the yard and I knew she would be standing up. And they were hand-me-downs. I don't see the point of buying shoes until they're walking.
Target knockoff Robeez only. Since DS is starting to learn to walk I don't want to put him in any hard sole shoes right now. The fake Robeez are great b/c he doesn't even realize they're on his feet : ) ANd they're so easy to put on.
mine have worn some robeez once, this past weekend, and so far, that's it. since the weather's getting cooler, i think i'll put them on the boys more often, esp since they have pumpkins on them, and they really won't get any wear after halloween!
I bought Ben his first pair of shoes about 2 weeks ago, but yesterday was only the second he's worn them. We went for a walk and it was chilly, so I put them on him to keep his feet warm.
For about a month DS has been wearing shoes all the time when he goes to daycare or out. I don't put them on if we are just hanging around the house. I hate shoes and I don't want DS to be picky about his feet.

The only reason my DD wears shoes is to keep her socks on now that it is cold. They are Bobux so the soft ones with the elastic to keep them on. She won't wear real shoes until she is walking and even then, only when we are outside as it is better for little ones to learn to walk barefoot.
Mine doesn't. We live in Florida and haven't seen the need for shoes yet. DH put shoes on DS this weekend and he looked so funny and he couldn't do the things he does without shoes, like pull up and stand. I guess we better start getting him used to them at some point.
No shoes here. I bought him Robeez, but now they're too small. I live in FL, so there hasn't been a need. I will have to get something for the winter though, and when he starts walking.
My 11 month old DS still rarely wears shoes and he's walking now. I got him some of the fake Robeze from Target when we went camping and I knew he'd be walking (with help) on rocky ground with lots of sticks. If he's just outside in our yard or in the house then he never wears shoes.
My daughter started to walk at 10 months, but before that she never wore shoes. Now she wears them every day when we go outside or out shopping, etc. Barefoot in the house though.
Re: Does anyone's DC NOT wear shoes?
DD never wears shoe unless we go out somewhere.
They complete the outfit, and I'm vain that way! lol
