Called for Glucose Results.

Me: I'm calling to check if my glucose results are in, I did my test on Tuesday.

Nurse: Oh, they should be in, let me check. (looks up my file) --- I'm going to transfer you to that department, okay?

Me: Ok. ---- I then get voicemail for one of the PA's in the office so I left a message.

I am really hoping they are normal... I would think if they were the nurse who answered may have just told me they were normal. But maybe she is not qualified to give test results over the phone... But I keep thinking... Maybe she didn't tell me because they were abnormal, and the nurse needs to discuss the results with me... Oh PLEASE let me have passed! I wanna eat holiday goodies! Or else what is the point of being PG over the holidays?!?!? LOL

    Fingers crossed for you! I called and got the receptionist and she gave me the results, but every office is different!

    I have had such an easy uneventful pregnancy up until now, it would make sense for something crappy like GD to happen! LOL

    All I have to do is wait for a call back... trying to stay distracted.

    OP- what test did you take? The 1 hour or the 3 hour? It very well could be that the person who answered the phone wasn't qualified to give you the results, or you may have failed the one hour and they want to give you instructions for the 3 hour. If you failed, don't freak out! With DS I failed the 1 hour but passed the 3 hour with flying colors. From what I've read and heard from my doctor, it happens a lot.

    It was the 1 hour test. I have heard about that happening a lot too (failing the 1 hr and passing the 3 hr) We will see what happens.

    I hope you pass!  I failed both of mine, so you'll have to eat lots of sweets for me :)

    Not yet but it is only 2:45 here. There is still time for them to call me back today... Hopefully they do....
