WDYD Cold and stuffy nose

What do you do when your LO has a cold or stuffy nose? How do you help him/her feel better or sleep better? Do you do anything other than giving them medicine or suction their nose often? I need ideas on how to make my LO feel/sleep better with her cold/stuffy nose.

Do you use vaporizer/humidifier? If so, please recommend what you use. Thanks.

    We use a humidifier.  Also, last week LO had a horrible cold and wasn't sleeping well at all and I put Vicks on her feet and covered them with socks and it worked great!! I have been telling everyone about it.  She slept great each night after I started doing that, and her cold was gone in just a couple days.  Good luck!

    • Vicks warm air vaporizer (make sure the vapor liquid is for kids under 2)
    • slather the bottom of his feet in Vicks baby rub at night & put socks on him (WORKS WONDERS!!!)
    • spray baby noses (saline spray) in his nose & suction . I hold it in there and spray a lot, it makes the mucus come running out (called irrigating the sinuses)
    • lots of love and tlc :)

    Oh, lots of fluids too!!! Water (we don't do juice)
