My 7.5 mo old DD drinks formula 5 times a day (about 4-5 ounces) and eats 2 solid meals. I saw on here that babies that age are drinking 3 times a day. Should I be concerned about this? Is there a way to decrease the number of feedings but have the same total formula intake?
thanks

Re: how many times does your 7-8 month old eat/drink
We are about the same. She won't take more than 5-6 oz. at a time so she eats more frequently. I don't think it is a big deal.
I'm glad you asked this, I've been wondering the same thing! DD takes a bottle or nurses about 6 times a day, averaging about 4-5oz per bottle (and I estimate she gets about 4 or 5 ounces when she nurses). In addition to that, we just started doing 3 meals a day: a couple cubes of fruit mixed with oatmeal in the morning (after she nurses), a small jar of veggies in the afternoon at daycare, and half a large jar of stage 2 veggies for dinner.
I'd love it if she would drink more at one sitting so she didn't have to nurse as frequently. It's not a big deal when we're just hanging around the house, but whenever we go somewhere, it would be nice not to have to stop every two hours and nurse or feed her.
Well, my baby is a little older than yours, but I'll share anyway:
I think at your baby's age it was more like this:
Holy crap!! I didn't read yours thoroughly at first, and I thought that whole list was what your LO ate in a day! My jaw dropped to the floor, haha!!
