Someone tell me I'm overreacting

After my first bfp I tested for 3 days straight and the test line kept getting darker and darker. Now I am 20dpo and tested this morning and the line doesn't seem to be any darker than it was at 15dpo.

For my sanity someone tell me I'm overreacting to this, please!

calm down, take a deep breath.. there is probably only a certain amount of dye in the test so it probably won't get any darker..

I know, but it's not even as dark as the control line yet, that is the only reason I tested this morning.

I don't think you should be tesing anymore at home. If you really are upset and need information call your doctor and ask for a blood test.

Over analyzing like this is clearly putting a great deal of stress on you and that is not good for you or your baby. Calm down and trust your body.

I know its hard not to want to keep testing, you're still getting used to the idea of being pregnant, but like PP said, you aren't doing yourself any good by over analyzing home tests. Take a deep breath, look at your very positive home test, and enjoy your pregnancy! Congratulations and talk to your doctor to get confirmation if you feel you really need to.

Stop testing, but also stop worrying. A nurse at my Doctors said the line doesn't always get darker, even when your HCG levels are increasing.

Peach, I'm sorry I'm late to your post but I'm sure you're just fine. I have also heard that the line doesn't always get darker (I think KDodge mentioned her's didn't), so I wouldn't worry too much. ((Hugs))

Thanks AZ! I was at least hoping it would get as dark as the control line, but I'm done worrying about it, that isn't going to do me any good.
