Happy Birthday!

My preemie is 7 weeks old today on this, her actual birthday! I cannot believe how blessed we have been. She was so fortunate to have been born perfectly healthy with just a slight bit of jaundice which with 2 weeks in the NICU we managed to get under control with no real issues. She is developing at a very healthy rate and I swear judging by the milestones my books and my doc has asked me to look out for she seems to be quite advanced for her age and I am not just saying that because she is my baby! 

 

I just feel so blessed today to have my happy, healthy baby here with me and I guess I just wanted to share this as proof that big things do come in small packages and just because your baby is a preemie (which sometimes people stereotype as being behind and/or slower than the rest) they to are special ALL of them, each in their own very unique and different ways!

 

I love you baby girl!
