I know it can be disappointing but crazier things have happened! *hugs* Does your doc require a certain number of mature follies before going to retrieval?
Don't worry! Five sounds fine to me. I only ended up with one embie (had six eggs retrieved but only one fertilized), and I got Sadie. So, you don't need that many. A few rockstars will do. I have lots of hope for you! (((hugs)))
TTC #2, Operative hysteroscopy March 2011; IVF #1 long lupron protocol April 2011-cancelled due to poor response; IVF #2 flare protocol May 2011=hospitalization due to abdominal hemorrhage during ER and no fert due to MFI issues. Moving onto international adoption from Moldova January 2013!
Don't lose hope Dip!! Like prior posts have said, it only takes one. And you never know how many more can pop out overnight. I know I had a bunch more pop out over the course of two days that weren't there before. Hang in there sweetie!!

I stimmed longer than I wanted because of my slow start. I ended up having 5 eggs retrieved and 3 fertilized. It's an emotional roller coaster for sure. Keep thinking positive. ((HUGS))

Thanks ladies - I haven't even brought it up to the doc yet. I think there is an unspoken understanding that this is not ideal. I was hoping to have some to freeze, so just in case it didn't work, we could try again, and now I'm just hoping I have two that are mature, fertilize and cleave. I don't know if they will transfer if there is only one. I'm trying not to freak out, but I also feel like *** (still nauseous, stayed home from work today and slept) so I'm having a little pity party.

Re: Fuuck. Still only 5 follies
but as long as they are the Fab5 you'll be good. (it only takes one)
HUGS. Stay strong and positive.

It can still happen! My best friend only had 3 follies fertilize out of 6 and she has an awesome 17 month old.
((hugs)) Try to stay positive.
Hang in there...still have a couple days of stimming to go. Lots of things can happen.

Keep your chin up, dip! Five follies could EASILY produce your very own PB&J!
GL Dip!
Out of each follie do multiple eggs come out?
1/11: IUI #2 = 5mg Femara + trigger + IUI = BFN
