So I went home yesterday around noon, b/c I was so nausous at work. I had noticed some brown spotting yesterday morning/afternoon. Last night around 4:30 it got heavier and more red. I was so scared.
I called the doctors office and they said that it could all still be normal and that there wasn't anything they could do. Just monitor and if I start getting cramps, etc. then go to the hospital.
This morning, the bleeding has gotten worse, but I still have NO cramps! I stayed home this morning from work so i could call the DR. again. They called me back and said that they discussed all options, but that at this point it could still all be normal. No blood work- could show hormones even if had miscarriage. No US- too early to see anything even if everything was normal.
I'm at work now, sporting some winged thin pads, and I'm so nervous. In the back of my mind I keep thinking that it's ok b/c I haven't had any cramping and haven't passed any tissue of any kind. I was with a friend once when she had a miscarriage (didn't know she was preggers) and she was bleeding so heavily and doubled over in pain. I guess I keep thinking that since I'm not like that, it'll be ok.
It's so hard since every woman, every pregnancy, every baby is different each and every go around.
Anyone have any thoughts, comments, advice?? Could really use it right now!

I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
without cramps maybe its just a tear in your uteran lining... apparently its somewhat common/normal and you could be 100% fine.
I was reading articles/other threads before and remember people saying that they bled on and off throughout the 1st tri and their baby is healthy as can be. I really think not cramping and no clots is a good sign... stay positive

Thanks all!
It just so hard feeling helpless. When on the phone with the nurse i offered to come in and they could run any and every test they wanted and take as much blood as they wanted! But they're basically helpless like me too and can't do anything.
This. T&P's as you get through these next few days. Stick baby stick!
::hugs:: I'm sending you tons of thoughts and prayers sweetie. I had brown spotting last Friday night and Saturday morning but it has stopped since. My doctor was very accommodating and had me come in on Monday to get bloodwork done. We got to do an u/s as well to see the bean and hear the heartbeat. From that u/s, the doc discovered that I also have a cyst that's pretty common. When my bloodwork results came back, my HCG level was great but I had lower progesterone levels than they were comfortable with, so I got put on supplements. So, trust that there are plenty of happy stories that started with brown spotting, ok?
Please get plenty of rest and put your feet up whenever you are able. Drink lots of fluids and try not to stress (I know, easier said than done).
