I am new here.  I was born 27 years ago, at 35 weeks.  My dad was born 54 years ago at 33 weeks, and my fiancee was born at 32 weeks.  My fiancee and I are talking about having children, in the relative near future, TTC in about 12 months or so.  Is there any study showing that people who were born preterm, and come from preterm parents have a higher risk of having preterm babies?  I don't know if this is the right place to ask this.

What she said!

Yup. I can say that I was born preterm due to pPROM and DD was born preterm due to PROM but both incidents were unrelated- my mother had a serious fall and drs suspect that I had an infection that made DD come early.
ditto!
