Is there anywhere besides the mall to take pics with Santa?

I want to get my DD's pics taken but the mall is so crowded and I am such a germaphob I am nervous to bring her to such a crowded place.

I know Bass Pro Shop does but it's so far from us.

    Check your local churches and neighborhood newsletter.  Many times they offer pancakes and santa pictures or something of the sort.

    Maybe the library?  Our local library has him every year. 

    If you go this week during the day to the mall (like when Santa first opens) it won't be crowded at all.  I'm a huge germaphob and that is when I take DS.

    The mall santa is not crowded at all on 10am on a weekday, especially in the first couple weeks he's there. That's when we've always gone. Usually there's no one in line except the mom's group I came with.

    I agree.  If you go first thing in the morning there is no crowd.

    I know the Chik Fil A in Magnolia (1488/2978 intersection) and the one in Alden Bridge had a Santa one Saturday.  Most CFA's do events like that.

    I have no idea where you live, but La Centerra in Cinco Ranch has a Santa that sits outside on his chair.  It is completely free and you take your own picture.  I loved it because there was no line and he really took his time with each kid!

    I must stop trying to read so fast.  At first I thought this said, "...a Santa that sits outside on his car."  I pictured some random dude just driving up, getting out of his car dressed in a Santa suit, and hopping up on the hood of his '79 Camaro to have a smoke.

    I read it the same way!!!! I pictured him sitting in his car waiting for little kids to pass by so he could chat them up.
