I signed up for a thing online that is supposed to analyze your spending for market research. They were supposed to give me a $50 amazon GC for participating. I read the privacy policy and all. Now my bank account is overdrawn $-9,999,673.04. I gave them my freaking password. Now it seems so completely stupid, but it seemed legit at the time. I usually consider myself pretty careful online but obviously not this time. Now I can't even find the name of the "company" I signed up for. Be careful out there ladies.
Re: FML
Wait, is that almost 10 million dollars???? I don't think I've ever seen that number in real life.
Oh Blayne, how awful. Is the bank helping you get this resolved or anything?

OMG. Tell me this is a prank on us. I hope this gets fixed fast. I too am surpised the bank allowed that big of a withdrawl to happen.
Unless of course you make these kinds of purchases on a normal basis...
Anyway the company is called Consumer Say, and if I would have just done a simple google search I would have found out they are a scam. Stay far far away! I don't know why I thought for a second it was ok to give out my password anyway. Lesson learned.
Holy freaking CRAP that's a lot of money!!!
I'll be thinking of you guys and praying this situation works itself out ASAP!!!

That's crazy! What kind of scammers try to withdraw $10mil anyway? Do they really think that's going to work?
I hope you get this sorted out ASAP. Don't beat yourself up too much. It happens to the best of us.
This!
I can't believe your bank would allow transactions for 10 mil to go through, you would think they would get suscpicous after a couple mil!
