OK to wash clothes with CDs?

Is it ok to throw in a few baby outfits in the wash after the cold rinse?

Re: OK to wash clothes with CDs?

  • I don't see why not - it would probably only be a problem if you were trying to throw cd's in a regular wash that didn't use cd friendly detergent.
  • Loading the player...
  • I do sheets and towels with CDs after the cold rinse.  DH thinks it gross, but I don't think so :o)  Saves water/energy and I get more done at once!
  • Yeah, I was wondering if it would be gross or not...but I mean the cold rinse washes out all the pee/poop, and I use Charlie's Soap on all of our laundry so I won't have an issue with that. I think I'll try it today...better to do one medium load than 2 tiny loads!

  • I never thought about doing this...it seems like a good idea.
  • I don't usually. It does seem icky to me, though I know it probably isn't. I have thrown in clothes that got poop on them because then it doesn't seem icky... gosh, I am very contradictory!
