NBR: Work laptop DEAD

I started working from home this week and yesterday was the biggest bust ever. My work laptop decided to give me the evil blue screen and then this morning after handing it off to our tech, he called to say that it was fired. All my files are GONE. They are hoping to get it back up and running with a new hard drive but until then I am dead in the water. I'm making cookies this morning for our tech to thank him for dealing with me crying and begging him to take my machine over the others. Here's to hoping that the new hard drive works. p.s. My work laptop was brand new and less than 2 months old. :(

    Do you think it's a sign that you should just be relaxing and waiting for Baby instead of working?  Wink

    I know the awful feeling though when you can't get work done when you're working from home.  You feel as if you are given this priviledge of not having to come into the office and then you just aren't doing anything.  Hopefully the tech can work some sort of miracle and get you back up and running.

    Since I used my down time yesterday to make a crib skirt, I think today I should be a little more productive. :) I have a meeting every afternoon at 4:45pm that I have to be on and it would totally help to be back up and running. Just stinks to lose everything. Here's to catching up tonight. yuck.
