Hello,

I asked a question yesterday about elevating your hips after BDing and got so many great answers that I thought I would ask another question. Big Smile

I just had an HSG done last week (everything was clear) and have heard that it could possibly increase your chances of getting pregnant afterward. Have any of you had an HSG and then gotten pregnant quickly after? How many cycles did it take? TIA

my first HSG I got pg 13 months later

my 2nd, I got pregnant that cycle (LMP 05/20, HSG 05/27, O on 06/12, BFP on 06/28).

my good friend got pg one cycle after her HSG - her husband called it her "uterine power wash" LOL.

I got pregnant four cycles after, the last three were also on clomid.

This BFP was the cycle of my HSG. I have a friend who conceived both children the same cycle of her HSGs after many months of TTC both times. Maybe it is true that it can clear things out. My HSG was normal - no blockages, so I didn't think it would increase my chances, but maybe it did.

Had my HSG Oct. 25 and found out I was KU Nov. 13. I keep telling DH I think it knocked something out of the way. The pain of the test was totally worth it!
