Lumps under the skin

I noticed a couple weeks ago that Zane had what felt like a small cyst/lump on the back of his head, just above his neck. I didn't think much of it, since it was just one. But tonight I found several more - like four total all around the back of his head and neck.

Anyone have experience with something similar? I am going to call his pedi in the morning, but I'm a little afraid to google anything tonight.

    Are they hard? I wouldn't google anything. But multiple lumps tells me possibly cyst? Or it could be nothing. Call first thing in the am.

    It might be lymph nodes which I hear are totally normal. This would freak me out if I found something like that and didn't know what it was. Hopefully your pedi will reassure you tmw.

    Yeah, hard little lumps, about the size of a pea or smaller.  When I touch them, they move around.

    Moveable is good( well if you were thinking cancerous, those types of lumps don't move) so maybe cyst or like pp said, lymph nodes. I would for sure call the pedi.

    thank goodness.  I had horrible thoughts in my mind.  The one lump at first was no big deal.  But finding three more was scaring me.  I'm still calling first thing in the morning though, just to be sure.  But I'm not so scared anymore, so thank you!
