is this normal? re: STRANGE Behavior

he is starting to smack the sides of his head (where his ears are) and shout.

I never saw this before....he literally will sit in the high chair and bang the sides of his head with hand. He bangs it hard. Tonight I went over and pulled his arms away from his head.

He will sit there and do this repeatedly till I interject...

then he lets out a loud "look at me" like shout..

is this normal behavior, something quirky or something I should be concerned about?

Ryan does it too. I think at this stage they're kind of still learning that their arms are actually attached to their body. Much like a puppy who chases his tail because he doesn't realize it's attached to his butt Smile

DD likes to hit herself with the wii remote. I asked my pedi. about it when she started doing it. He told me that it is just attitude for not getting her way.

Yep, totally normal. Samuel did something similar when he was that age, and Eli will flail arms and yell in his high chair and then grab the front of his face and pull on it. Weirdness.
