Tardy to the Party: AWing new Siggy Pic

So I got a new camera and have been spending most of my time on the Photography board...but I missed reading 6-9, so I am back.  Also, I missed the "Vintage DH & I" Siggy challenge, so I am finally joining in.

I did though get a new shot of my DD the other day when the weather was a perfect fall day (now it is frickin cold) and I had to share :-)

I also realized that I am SO CLOSE to finally getting out of newbie status, so that get's me excited....bronze here I come!

    Cute pics! Looooove the one of your DD, that is a GREAT picture!

    We got a new camera too, DSLR....love it! I do need to hop on over to the photgraphy board to learn more about it though. It was SOOO worth the money, we've been able to get some great photos! Are you taking classes or anything, or just teaching yourself? Have you found any good websites for this?

    Right now I am reading a few books and teaching myself, but I am hoping to take a course.  I wanted to have a basic understanding first.  Loving it!

    As far as websites, I have been reading a lot of the photography board folks blogs.  They are really helpful!
