nursery inspiration

hi hi hi!

one more since i'm on the computer tonight...

where di you guys go for nursery inspiration? i think we're leaning towards animals and alphabets. we want something colorful. but haven't found exactly what we're looking for.

we haven't figured out our crib yet either. hahaha oops.

D started out as a LUCKY CHARM but ended up being our LOVEBUG image

    There's a nursery bio somewhere...ah, here you go.

    Spearmint Baby is also pretty good, and sorted by color scheme.

    We picked a theme and worked around that, but a lot of people pick a source of inspiration - like a bedding set - and build around that. (I really like DwellStudio's stuff, but it can be pricey - they do have a cheaper line they make for Target though.) 

    ETA: I forgot to say, babysupermall has a huge selection of bedding, so even if you don't buy from them it's a good starting point to find something  you like - there are cute animal/alphabet sets like:

    I subscribed to Pregnancy magazine, and there were a lot of inspiration/ideas there. That's when I saw a Winnie the Pooh set and fell in love with WTP (I guess I never really paid attention to WTP when I was a kid so this is the first time for me =P). I also loved Pottery Barn Kids designs. They were more expensive, but you can also just get ideas browsing on their website and look for cheaper alternatives online. People also sell new items on eBay for discontinued designs from PBK but they're not much cheaper since they're rarer/hard to get...

    We also did animals/alphabet for our nursery.  I didn't buy them there, but I used Baby Super Mall for ideas, like Lisa suggested.  In fact, her fourth link down (Jackson bedding) is the bedding we ended up with, and I love it.  I can send you pics of how we put it all together if you like.....just let me know.  Smile

    babysupermall had tons of ideas, but mainly we had a clock we have received as a wedding gift that we designed the nursery theme around.

    I was just going to suggest the Boy Room Bio that is going around, but Lisa beat me to it ;)

    I didn't want a theme because I'm just not a theme type person, but I wanted certain colors.  I wanted an aqua and tangerine nursery and just Googled for it and found something I really love, but it ended up being a beach type theme so we are ending up going with that ;)
