Is he walking yet? I found our activities really opened up when he could walk.
Monday- FunTastics (basically they open up a gymnastics gym to kids 6-36 months).
Tuesday- just whatever...sometimes it's errands, other times it's a playdate, I'm taking him to a play place today
Wednesday- library story time and we always have a play date with another baby in the class right after
Thursday- FunTastics again
Friday- Library story time.
We just joined a SAHM play group and I am really excited to get into that. They have a ton of activities that they get together for (1 or more a week) so that will be something we do on top of our other activities. We both like being busy, so this lifestyle works for us. I found my play group on meetup.com.
Thank you Ladies! He is not walking yet...hopefully soon!
I have been thrown into SAHM status as of next monday...losing my job...but I want to make the most of it and spend good quality time with Quinn until I can find another job at least cause it is gonna suck to lose my income...but I will gain lots of wealth through time spent with Quinn...that is how I am looking at it!
Hey Niki! Hope all is well, been a while since I've been active on here.
We go for walks every morning it is not raining or under 35 degrees between breakfast and first nap for about 40 minutes.
Between first and second nap we run errands except every other Monday when we have a playgroup in the AM and Wednesday when we have Little Gym. Then we have lunch - out on Wednesdays and home the rest of the week, except on random weekend days when DH is home so we go to a diner or something.
After second nap we have playgroup every other week on Monday or we try to arrange another playdate at least once a week. Our local children's museum has been closed for reno but reopens next week so we will be going there at least one afternoon a week. I also schedule all doctors appts (his and mine) during this time since I know for sure he will ALWAYS be awake at 3pm. We try to get to a playground and our beach (we live in a coastal town) at least once a week, and if it had been raining in the morning but is nicer in the PM we will take a walk. We also sometimes go to the high school across the street to watch practices or games, although that seems to be winding down for the season.
Such is life...I could use more fun stuff to do but that is pretty much how our days go...
In the morning LO explores the house while I tidy, unload the dishwasher etc.
After her first nap we always head out if the weather allows. To the park, moms group, library story time, play group.
After her second nap I actively play with her until dinner time. We read books, play with her toys, do shapes, blocks, body parts. Go up and down the stairs a million times. If the weather is particularly nice we might go for a short walk around the neighborhood and spend a little more time at the park.
It is nice having a mix of independent play time where I can get things done; Playtime with a group - LO gets to spend time with other kids, I catch up with other parents, there are often toys/books etc that we don't have at home; and one on one time with LO. She is generally pretty worn out by the end of the day which is a plus! She isn't walking yet but I imagine that a whole new world of activities will happen then.
We are also looking at an open swim session for mamas and babies. Check out Meet Up for Moms groups in your area. I have met some great ladies and found some cool activities through the group.

These are all great ideas! I need to look into swim lessons!
Between breakfast and first nap we play... I let him do some exploring and playing alone and we also do some little stuff like learning body parts or colors or whatever seems like a good idea to show him that day.
After first nap we have lunch and then usually we do something, errands, wander around the mall, playdate etc. One day a week his first nap gets pushed back a bit for his Kindermusik class.
After 2nd nap we have playtime, dinner, bath and then it's usually time to go down for the night.
