  I believe 6 months is the official age  for yogurt, I didn't give other dairy until 8 months or so due to lactose intolerance.

  We started at 6 months.

  Our pedi has it on the chart at 8 months, you should call your doctor and see what they say. Maybe you can try it.

  I thought it was closer to 7 or 8 months.

  we were given the go ahead at 8 months.  My pedi told me absolutely no yobaby - too much sugar.  I give them faje or siggis mixed with their fruit.
