plans for it came from https://ana-white.com/ (formerly Knock Off Wood). There are tons of things I want to build from this site. I should probably just invest in buying Lowe's; that way I'd have any tool and any wood accessible to me.
Well, I guess I got it from my mom. She, my aunt, and my grandma are all really DIY-ers. Rather than asking men to help, they typically just go out, buy the tools or whatever supplies they need for whatever project with a little help from the employees at Lowe's or Home Depot, and make it happen. My mom has made friends with the guys who work at the hardware store in our town so she can just go in, ask what she needs, how to do it, and then goes home to do the project at hand. I would just do this project myself, but being this largely pregnant, I don't think it's a great idea to lift the completed portions of the table to work with it.
I'm a pro with a drill.
You can totally do that project - it's pretty easy from the appearance of it. And, if you take a list of cuts you need made in wood like that with you to Lowe's - they'll even cut it for you. I had them do this when I upholstered a king size headboard for a close friend.

This is me and my Mom 100%! Good luck with the table, it looks great!
DH built us a beautiful farm table, but there's no way I could have done it. I helped, but my jobs included holding the boards while he cut and drilled them and picking the stain.

I'm impressed.
