Photobook vs 8x10 Framed Pics

Picaboo is doing a 2 for 1 sale on their photobooks and calendars.  I could make the fam photobooks or calendars with K's life so far.  March-Dec.

Or I could get them a nice framed pic of her.  I was thinking a matted 8x10.

Which would you prefer as the recipient?  I don't know what to do but I do know that the single pic is going to be so much easier for me than designing a book.

ETA - The code for the Picaboo offer is BGFTHX

ETA again - Expires tonight.

  • I would do the framed photo...you could always hdo a photobook next year of the entire first year.

I'm doing photobooks.  I've done the framed 8x10 and it becomes a PITA trying to match a frame to someone else's decor. Also, I'm really really horrible about getting pictures printed out, so this will be my yearly purge. I'm just making one book, the top 100 of Lil Miss 2010 and everyone is getting the same.

I thought about calendars, but I think the people I'm giving to could likely be getting photo calendars from other people.

So my vote would either be calendars or books.

  • I would love the idea of a book (as a recipient). However, I like the single framed picture idea as well, & as Barbara said, a book of her entire 1st year would be very nice down the road.

This, and thanks for the code.

  • Thanks ladies. Tough decision. Sigh.
  • I like the idea of the book because you can include so many more pictures. Plus, I would struggle to find a place for an 8x10, and the whole decor thing.
