Minnesota Babies

in home daycare - EP, Chanhassen, Chaska, etc

My husband and I are looking for an in-home daycare center starting in August...we are currently expecting, baby will be approx 8 months when we want to start. We are first time parents, and unfortunately don't know that many other people with kids which has made it hard to get referrals to in-home daycare places. If anyone has any recommendations I'd really appreciate it! =D

 Thanks!

Re: in home daycare - EP, Chanhassen, Chaska, etc

  • Hi!! We live in Chaska and are first time parents. We had the same situation where none of our friends have children yet, so I had no reccomendations. I called childcare resource and referral for Carver county. They then gave me a long list of providers. I looked FOREVER for in home daycares, and did 12 interviews! We settled on a lady in Chanhassen who is close to my work. Our daughter starts there the beg. of December. If you would like her phone number send me a PM. AND GOOD LUCK searching for child care can be frustrating..just be picky!!!

  • Hi I tried to reply to your private message, and it keeps saying user not found. Here is the info for the in home daycare

Teddy Bear Daycare, Chanhassen MN 952-270-7336. Teddybear_daycare@yahoo.com

She charges $40/day for an infant. If you have any questions please send me another PM and I will figure out how to respond!!

    Good luck!

  • Most lics providers can only have one infant under 12 months at a time that is why it is hard to find infant spots. If you don't need a spot until August then you have lots of time to call around.
