I just noticed your new blog and followed the link you have to Wake Tech's Ed2Go classes. How do those work? Do you have a set time you have to be online? I'm thinking about signing up for one of the photography classes. Thanks!

    Hey!  Nope, there's no set time to be online.  The classes come out twice a week, on Wed and Friday and you have 2 weeks to complete each assignment before that assignment's discussion area closes.  For the writing classes, there's a written lesson to read, then a quiz to take, and a written assignment to complete that's technically self-grading, but you can post it in the discussion area for feedback.  I'm assuming the photography classes are set up similarly, but probably with a photography assignment for the lesson.  I have really enjoyed the Ed2Go classes so far!  I was looking at the photography one too, so if you take it, let me know how it is!

    Thanks for the info. I'm really glad to know that there isn't a set time; that makes me much more inclined to take a course. Or two! I've found a few things that pique my interest.

    I really admire you for working on your writing. There are times when I wish I would push myself more to do things, and you inspired me!

    Yeah, the classes seem like a good deal.  I didn't realize that once you log into Ed2Go, it's actually a nationwide thing, not really Wake Tech, but it's probably better that way in order to actually fill those classes every month.

    Thanks for the encouragement!  Writing is something I've been toying with for about 15 years, so I figure I may as well give it a try right now while I'm between careers.  It would be a dream job for me if I could publish a few books.
