so frustrated with scheduled induction!!! ughhh

SO 2 weeks ago my doc says "we'll schedule the induction for 39 weeks at your next appointment" on thursday last week, she says "I'll have a nurse call you to schedule it tomorrow (friday)" well I hadn't heard anything by 3 on friday, so i call, they said they didn't have any info in my chart about it and they'd get back to me monday morning, i hadn't heard anything at noon, so i called back, the nurse STILL didn't know anything! i'm 38 weeks tomorrow, which means IF i find out today or tomorrow, i'll have ONE week to get everything settled, boarding for 3 dogs, transportation, family coming into town, induction, my brothers birthday ALL the same week of thanksgiving! oy vey. i'm so stressed out! so i'm STILL waiting on a call from the nurse telling me when my induction is!

    Can you at least set up tentative plans to have the dogs boarded?  I know with my guy we told them when I was due and that they may have a last minute boarder and they were totally understanding.

    Ugh! That is so frustrating! I hope they call you back and get everything straightened out! :)

    I mean I know that you want to plan things, but you could go into labor today or tomorrow and you wouldnt have that week or however long to plan things. I would try not to stress out about it.

    Yes  I went into labor on my own and she was born 3.5 hours later. It will all work out. You said "transportation" - do you not live near a hospital?
